FORSCOT LAUNCHES WEBSITE

Forscot, the Scottish company planning to build and operate a £1 billion integrated forest products operation at Invergordon in the north east of Scotland, has launched a website, which can be found on www.forscot.com

The website explains the background to the project and gives details of the operation and its proposed location. It also contains information about the products that Forscot will make and biographies of the five directors who started the company.

Ed Gillespie, chairman of Forscot, said: ‘We expect to complete the next phase of our fund raising shortly, so felt this was an appropriate time to launch the website. It will be updated regularly to keep people informed about our progress.’

The next phase of funding will enable the company to complete detailed technical studies, secure the site for the project and obtain the necessary planning and environmental permits, as well as strengthen its management team.

The Forscot website was designed by Solution M, a marketing agency based in Glasgow.
