FORSCOT TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING TO OUTLINE PLANS
Forscot, the company which intends to develop a £1 billion integrated forest industry project at Invergordon, is to hold an open public meeting to outline its plans so far.
The meeting, which is to be attended by John Thurso, MP, will be held at 7 pm on Monday, 14 February at Invergordon Academy. All members of the local community as well as anyone with a particular interest in the development will be welcome to attend.
Forscot chairman, Ed Gillespie said: ‘This is a long term project and we are still in the early stages of developing our plans.
‘However, we want to ensure that the people of Invergordon are made fully aware of our proposals so that we can address any issues or concerns that they might have.’
At the meeting Ed Gillespie will give a general overview of the project, the various stages of its development and an outline of the proposed timescale.
This will be followed by more details about the individual elements of the project and the issues under consideration.
After the formal proceedings there will be an opportunity for people to ask questions and make their views known to Forscot.
